What is most useful to send
- A figure that disagrees with its source. The single most valuable thing anyone sends. Name the page, the figure, and the source it contradicts.
- A rule change we have missed. UAE employment law has moved substantially in recent years and will again. If something has changed and this site has not caught up, a pointer to the instrument is enough.
- A question the guides do not answer. Gaps in the coverage are worth knowing about — the FAQ grows from these.
What we cannot do
We cannot advise on your specific situation, review your contract, or tell you whether a settlement you have been offered is correct for you. This site is a calculator and a set of explanations, not a legal practice, and answering an individual case properly requires seeing documents we should not be asking you to send.
For a dispute about what you are owed, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) is the authority for employment matters in the UAE, and taking it there costs nothing.
What this site can do for a dispute is give you a calculation with every step shown, so you can identify precisely where your employer’s arithmetic and this one diverge. That is usually a more productive starting point than a disagreement about a total.
